Traveling the world has changed my life, opened my eyes and expanded my soul. I’ve grown exponentially over the past 9 years inside and out. I have a broader view of the world — a world without borders and a world without prejudice. I couldn’t have done this without my husband Dana Jon Chappelle. Currently we are splitting our time between Bali and California. Covid-19 shook everyones world and flipped it upside down. We had no idea the world was going to be the way it is when we left January 12th, 2020. Luckily we love traveling, experiencing new cultures and letting go of fear of the unknown. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place for the universe to have placed us during this world pandemonium. The calm, peaceful, centered, spiritual, angelicly beautiful island of Bali. We have spent a good portion of the last seven years here on the island. We have roots here and we have lovely relationships with the locals. More than that... the Balinese pray incessantly, they love God and they know how to keep going when the going gets tough.
The pandemic gave us prospective and provided us with a family of dogs, several close friends and a home in Bali. Free from the attachments of the world that keep so many people on the never ending hamster wheel of life — make money, spend money, materialism, etc. We neither one have a car, mortgage, home insurance, car insurance etc. We wanted to establish a life of financial freedom and the only way to do that is to let go of attachments we no longer need on a daily basis abroad. We both use our creative talents when we are in the United States to support ourselves. Life is sweet. It’s important to find your tribe and love what you do
