Gratitude
This morning, as I practiced Kundalini/Meditation for sunrise Sadhana, my heart was filled with an abundance of gratitude for everything that God is providing for me in my life at this moment.
Currently, I am blessed to be in Bali — “island of the Gods”. Loving Bali and all the opportunities it brings into my creative realm. I love to photograph, write, dance, sing/play my bass at sacred early morning chants, practice Kundalini and various other types of yoga, be inspired by children, learn the language, take long walks and motorbike rides through the rice fields, immerse myself deep into the culture and connect with smiling faces from all over the world. Life is about creating deep connections — living with childlike faith and curiosity.
“The purpose of life is to be beautiful, to be bountiful, to be blissful, to be graceful and grateful. What a wonderful English word—grateful. If one is great and full, one is God. And whenever smallness faces you, you should be great. And full. Full of that greatness.” Yogi Bhajan
“To be grateful is to be great and to be full—full of greatness. In Kundalini Yoga, the attitude of gratitude is the highest way of living.
Everything in our lives comes from the hand of the One. It is Divine to observe what we have and to give thanks for it all. Even when difficulties come, there is something to appreciate. Having a sense of gratitude puts us in touch with the preciousness of life.
Think about everything you can give thanks for—all your blessings and all your challenges. Can you discover the hidden gifts, even in the most difficult moments? How can you make it a part of your practice to appreciate everything in your life? Living with an attitude of gratitude opens doors to opportunities we can't foresee.” @3HOFoundation
My prayer for you today is that you find gratefulness for everything God has provided for you. This month, I invite you to explore the incredible gifts that come into your life when you create a habit to be grateful. In this life, being grateful is the biggest gift we get. We have all been blessed with more than we could ever imagine.

Be grateful in and for this life! Gratitude is the most powerful emotion we know. filled with positivity, this particular feeling immediately lights a smile on your face, making you feel more connected and complete. gratitude stands for happiness, simplicity, understanding and love. It helps you to see the mirrors and lessons you did not ask for. on the other hand, should you moan or resist those things, you put the emphasis on what is not there. this causes you to live in a state of shortage, further activating a negative spiral of creation. In a state of gratefulness, you do not need such defensive shields. Open your heart instead and meander at a hi- gher vibration. this state is essential for creating and receiving. A proactive stimulation of gratitude has a multiplying effect: it makes you see more and more things to be grateful for. Every evening, write a list of all those things that made you feel happy and grateful that day. through this practice, you will accelerate gratitude and receive a flow of abundance in return. — Innercompasscards, Neel van Lierop
